DISCLAIMER: MAJOR WORK IN PROGRESS
- Information in guide may not yet match this strategy 100%, but I will get that updated as I iron out the exact numbers.
For the sake of providing you with the choice of how you want to approach the game, I have provided two different routes you can take. Do NOT farm for all 37 characters right now: you will be getting Boss Materials from Dailies, Events, Alliance Raids, etc… so you will end up with way more than enough over time.
SHORT: Completing the Guild Founder Challenge.
LONG: Completing all Current Game Content.TIER 1 GEAR
- [SHORT]
- Do just enough Treant boss kills to get the Enchanted Barks you will need for both the Tier 2 Weapon Quests and the Tier 3 Weapon Upgrades for at least the 15 guild members you will need for the Titan Golem boss. This is: 60 Enchanted Barks. Then, CRAFT the rest of the Tier 1 Gear, farming Dungeons to get any missing crafting materials.
- [LONG]
- Do just enough Treant boss kills to get the Enchanted Barks you will need for both the Tier 2 Weapon Quests and the Tier 3 Weapon Upgrades for at least the 20 guild members you will need for the Lich King boss. This is 80 Enchanted Barks.
TIER 2 GEAR
- [SHORT]
- First CRAFT all of the Tier 2 Gear, farming Dungeons to get any missing crafting materials. Then do just enough Worm Queen boss kills to get the Desert Glass you will need for the Tier 3 Weapon Upgrades and the Tier 4 Weapon Quests for at least the 15 guild members you will need for the Titan Golem boss. This is: 45 Desert Glass.
- [MID]
- First CRAFT all of the Tier 2 Gear, farming Dungeons to get any missing crafting materials. Then do just enough Worm Queen boss kills to get the Desert Glass you will need for the Tier 3 Weapon Upgrades and the Tier 4 Weapon Quests and the Tier 5 Weapon Upgrades for at least the 20 guild members you will need for the Lich King boss. This is: 120 Desert Glass.
TIER 3 GEAR
- [SHORT]
- Do NOT craft this tier of gear as it will use the boss mats needed for weapon upgrades and weapon quest. After Tier 2 above, you should have some of the Tier 3 Gear already from drops. Now go back and farm the Worm Queen boss some more until you have almost all of the Tier 3 Gear from drops for all 15 guild members (or however many you already have recruited). When you get down to the last few pieces (i.e. 1-4 total pieces missing), then craft the remaining ones (if you are in a time crunch), or keep trying to get them via boss kill drops.
- [MID]
- Do NOT craft this tier of gear as it will use the boss mats needed for weapon upgrades and weapon quest. After Tier 2 above, you should have most (or all) of the Tier 3 Gear already from drops. Now go back and farm the Worm Queen boss some more if you don’t already have all of the Tier 3 Gear from drops for all 20 guild members you will need for the Lich King boss.
TIER 4 GEAR
- [SHORT]
- CRAFT all of the Tier 4 Gear, because it does not use valuable boss materials needed for weapon upgrades and quests.
- [MID]
- Do just enough Furnace Mech boss kills to get the Mech Cores you will need for the Tier 5 Weapon Upgrades and the Tier 6 Weapon Quests for at least the 20 guild members you will need for the last boss (Lich King). This is: 60 Mech Cores. Then, CRAFT the rest of the Tier 4 Gear, farming Dungeons to get any missing crafting materials.
